Sweetwater was incorporated in 1989 as a full service irrigation company. Prior to this, the owner, Swede Nelson, spent a few years "getting his feet wet" servicing commercial and residential irrigation systems. He learned which products work best and observed the difference between a good irrigation system and one that needed constant repairs. Sweetwater was then ready to launch into the business with much learned experience.

A number of years ago we began designing and installing outdoor lighting. This was a perfect complement to our business model and offered a service that our customers were requesting.
